Brittany + Craig Featured in Brides New York Magazine

Misc |

09.07.2010

I am thrilled to announce that one of my awesome couples from last fall is being featured in Brides New York Magazine in the Fall/Winter issues. The magazine is currently available in news stands all around the Tri-State area.  Brittany and Craig had a unique wedding with a wonderful story. They were married in the Hudson Valley at Mount Gulian’s Historical site. The site features an old barn which is where the couple had their ceremony and reception. You can learn more about their wedding in the article as well as some of the cool and unique details of their wedding. It’s a great feeling as a professional to have your work published especially in such a prominent magazine in New York.  You can also view more images from their wedding in a previous blog posting. Ana + Mario Engagement Session at the Blue Hill at Stone Barns and Westchester

Engagement |

08.27.2010

This was a great session with Ana and Mario. They picked some really cool locations for their session in Westchester. We started at Blue Hill which is a great place and I have heard the food is amazing. Then we went to a near by park that had the coolest spots. Ana and Mario were game and up for anything which is always music to my ears. Mario has what I call a crotch rocket and wanted some photos with his bike which was cool. I look forward to their wedding next February at the Glen Island Harbour.

Jessica + Brian at The Palace in Somerset

Weddings |

08.21.2010

Another awesome wedding. I am just rolling now, one after the other. This time it was Jessica and Brian’s turn to shine and tie the knot. These two were just sensational and great to work with. Everything was on point the weather, the venue, the couple of course the bridal party and everything else. The day ran smooth like butter and the party was fantastic. The ceremony and reception both took place at The Palace. The ceremony was outdoors and it was beautiful. Love outdoor ceremonies! I love my job and couples like Jessica and Brian.  Also want to give a little shout out to Kristen and Dan whose wedding I photographed a year ago. They have been great to me and have been my biggest fans. Also want to thank my partner in crime Millie B for shooting with me on this one.

Congrats to you guys and best wishes!

Amanda + Justin’s Wedding at the Brownstone

Weddings |

08.08.2010

Amanda and Justin had a kick ass wedding. It was a pleasure working with them. Amanda looked amazing and Justin not to shabby himself. The party was great and especially their little crew. They had 15 nieces and nephews in addition to the bridal party. So needless to say this was a fun and crazy wedding.

Thanks for a great and memorable wedding. Congrats to you both and I wish you the best!

Diana + Peter’s Engagement Session at Prospect Park in Brooklyn Part I

Engagement |

08.04.2010

Every once in a while you get a couple that goes above and beyond. You get a couple that wants something different, artistic, creative and so on. Diana and Peter are that couple. I met Diana and Peter at a Starbucks in New York City. When we sat and began to talk about the wedding and what they wanted to do for their engagement session I was blown away. Diana is a very creative person with a great imagination and she had a vision of what she wanted especially for the engagement session. I was all in just like a great hand in poker. Their engagement session is a two part deal. What you are about to see is part one and then in a few weeks I will post part two. When she told me that they wanted to rent a sofa and put it in Prospect Park and she said go nuts. . It was like a sign from above and I was like are you serious. And she was dead serious. I was like a kid at a candy store and my parents said go. Now, I know how my 5 year old feels when he goes to Toys R Us and we say go. Yikes, what a feeling!  Diana wore a hot red dress and Peter wore a black tux like something 007 would wear.I can’t wait for the wedding in September at the Pearl River Hilton.

Talia + Michael Engagement Session at the Meat Packing District, NYC

Engagement |

07.23.2010

It was the three Hs. Hazy, Hot and Humid! I think this was the hottest day of the summer. I could not shake the sweat of my forehead it was so bad. Talia and Michael kept cool in the heat. They met while both were at Penn State. That’s right the Nittany Lions! We had a blast and then as the sunset began to set the temperture also dropped and made it more comfortable. As a result we got some great stuff and awesome sunset photos at the Highland Park which is a walking park located above the Meat Packing District on old train tracks. It’s pretty cool and I highly recommend you check it out. Talia and Michael are getting married at the Westmount Country Club next summer during the 4th of July weekend! It’s going to be crazy. I have been warned already!

Kimberly + Eric at the Meadow Wood Manor

Weddings |

07.19.2010

The ‘Cuse baby! That would be the University of Syracuse for those who are not aware. That’s where Kimberly and Eric attended college and where they met. The Orange were running wild on this day. At one point during the reception, it felt as if I was at the Carrier Dome at one of the games. The mascot came out and it was electric! Eric was actually the mascot during this time at the ‘Cuse.  Kimberly could not resist a man in Orange! LOL! This was a blast and a ton of fun. Let’s check it out.
