Kara and James at the Round Hill House in Washingtonville, NY

06.22.2009

Kara and James are definitely one of the more eclectic and funky couples I have had the pleasure to work with. Just like the off Broadway show Bringin Da Noise Bringin Da Funk they did just that. To all the fellas aka grooms you have to convince the fiance to let you have your on Funktourage. James you are brilliant and every guy’s envy. James had three lovely ladies following him around during the pre-ceremony festivities. One young lady had a boom box so James and the guys could listen to their funk music, one young lady got him drinks and the other young lady made sure everything was going as planned. It was hilarious and all in good fun. One girl even had rollerblades and could move pretty good in them.  Kara the lovely bride looked absolutely stunning. Kara and James just had coolness oozing out of their pores, and yet they were laid back and down to earth. Love that! Not to mention they were so into each other it made my job easy that day. Everyone was looking good and felling good! They had the ceremony and reception at the lovely Round Hill House another one of my favorite venues. There is so much to do there and the staff is super accommodating and nice.

Kara and James you guys rock! No doubt about it. Thanks for a funky and awesome time at your wedding. Congrats to you both. Keep the FUNK ALIVE!

Whitney and Joshua at West Point Academy in West Point, NY

06.17.2009

I didn’t get to meet Whitney until about a couple days before the wedding. They were living in California at the time and so we communicated through phone calls and emails, technology it’s a beautiful thing. When I met Whitney she was so sweet and down to earth. We finalized everything that day and we were ready to go. I love military weddings especially at West Point. As soon as you walk on to the campus you can feel the history and a sense of pride. I thank all the military personal around the world for doing what you do. You are the true heros. Thank you! Needless to say Joshua is in the military and he and his groomsmen sported their unis. I met Joshua the day of the wedding and he was Mr. Joe Cool! We started out at the famed Thayer Hotel and then moved to the ceremony and reception location which was at Herbet Hall. Whitney had some really cool details, especially her feather blue shoes. I love it when brides add some color and personalize their wedding day. Super cool! It was such a unique location and away from the hussel and bussel of the campus. It was perfect for a wedding. The weather held up and we were rocking and rolling. I want to thank my partner in crime for helping me on back to back weddings Mr Harrison.

Whitney and Joshua thanks for a woinderful and memorable day. Your wedding was special and you guys are awesome! Congrats to you both! Keep me posted as to your next location, I know you will be moving around quite a bit these next few months.

Tami and Kareem at Beckwith Pointe in New Rochelle, NY

06.16.2009

When Tami and Kareem came to visit my studio it was instant connection. We all vibed and had a great time meeting. There engagement session was a kick ass session in Central Park and you can check it out under engagement sessions. They are down to earth and easy going my kind of couple. They have a beautiful family and are fun to be around. The ceremony and reception was held at Beckwith Pointe, one of the sweetest spots on the water in New Rochelle, NY. The wedding day started out a little shaky because of the rain, but by the time we were ready to go the sun came out and all was good. It actually turned out to be a hot summer day and perfect for a perfect couple. We were able to go out and play in the sand. I mean that’s why you go to Beckwith Pointe and we also got to play on the rock formation out in the water. Sweet! The party had old school music and classics. I was definitely in the zone that night! I also want to thank my partner Harrison for helping me out as well.

Tami and Kareem thank for an awesome wedding. You guys rock! Congrats to you both!

Rivki and Zach at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ

06.11.2009

When you get a fun and energetic couple you need to hold on and enjoy the ride. That’s what Rivki and Zach were. I want to start out by stating that this was my first Jewish Orthodox wedding, also my first Monday wedding as well, so I didn’t know what to expect.  Rivki and Zach did an awesome job explaining to me all the traditions that take place during the wedding. From that moment, I knew I was going to have to keep up. It was a wedding like no other, it was fun, festive, lively, and so much energy. I swear I lost 10 Ibs that day. The ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Rockleigh Country Club. Rivki and Zach are truly a wonderful couple and they showed it on their wedding day. The dancing was non stop it was fabulous.

Rivki and Zach thank you for an awesome time and also for the opportunity to lose so much weight trying to keep with all the non stop action. Congrats to you both!

Amy and Nick at the Glen Ridge Country Club in Glen Ridge, NJ

Amy and Nick, wedding was all the above and much more which I don’t have the space to write sown but you will get the idea when you see some of the beautiful images from their wedding.
