Julianne and Joseph E-Session at the South Street Seaport, NY

08.27.2009

During our first meeting, Julianne and Joseph shared with me how they got engaged. Joseph proposed at the Starbucks in Nyack which was so cool. They love Starbucks and are huge fans, so much that they will be incorporating Starbucks somehow in their wedding, looking forward to that detail. Julianne and Joseph wanted to start their session at the Starbucks in Nyack and I thought what a great idea. Well, right when we got started I was asked to stop because of company policy which does not allow photos to be taken due to privacy for their patrons and we understand that but that was not going to stop us. We went out front and took some cool photos and then headed down the South Street Seaport. It was awesome. We had a blast, Julianne and Joseph had no fear of the camera and showed their personalities which was great.  They were fun and full of energy. They will be getting married next July at the Rockleigh Country Club. This wedding should be out of control!

Can’t wait until the wedding next year! Thanks for the laughs!

Jami and Kevin at Patriot Hills Country Club

08.24.2009

This was a wedding party for the ages. I’m going to start with the reception because it was a PARTY! I love it when the bride is leading the charge and Jami held nothing back. She told me she wanted a party at the reception and she got what she asked for. It was non stop dancing, singing, yelling, shouting and anything else you can image at a wedding party. Now let’s talk about the kick ass couple. Jami looked fabulous and game. The bridal party was awesome and so much fun to work with. I even got in on the photos while on the dance floor that’s how crazy it was. The reception was at the awesome Patriot Hills Country Club in Stony Point, NY.  This was an Irish wedding so you know there was Guinness beer being served and the guys did their rowing in the middle of the dance floor which was insane. Also, a big thanks to Harrison for shooting with me.

Again Congrats to you both. It was an amazing party. Thanks for the good times! See you when you get back!

Laurie and Brian at the Imperia

08.20.2009

Laurie and Brian’s wedding was wonderful. They were the third couple from the same circle of friends thaat I have photographed with one more to go. They had their ceremony at the same location as the previous two couples and the next wedding I will be photographing there in September. The reception was at the lovely Imperia.

Congrats to you both! Thanks for a wonderful time.

Irene and Alex at the Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ

08.18.2009

Irene and Alex had  a traditional and beautiful Filipino wedding. Everything was wonderful. It was also a hot summer August day but that didn’t stop us. Irene looked out of this world and Alex wasn’t to bad himself and held his own. They had their reception at the Liberty House. It is one of the coolest venues. You have so much to do especially with Liberty State Park right in their backyard. We had a blast!

Irene and Alex thanks for a wonderful time at your wedding.

Lindsay and John in Wilton, CT

08.04.2009

I first met Lindsay and John at Colleen and Brian’s wedding in 2007. They saw a slideshow that I had prepared for the guests to view photos from the day of wedding. They were excited and the next thing you know we were at my office discussing their wedding plans. I knew right away this was a special couple and I was super excited to be a part of their wedding. Lindsay is awesome, she is one of the sweetest individuals you will ever come across and John is a super cool guy. This lovely couple has the most adorable little girl, Ella. She is the cutest thing and from what I hear quite the ham. The wedding was awesome. I had a to much fun. The ceremony and reception took place in the Wilton, CT. Lindsay was so calm and in the moment, not a worry in the world. I was zenned just being around her. The receptionwas a casual affair held at a family friend’s home. Which was amazing by the way. It had an unbelievable backyard and perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. Kids were jumping in the pool, everyone had their shoes off and guests danced the night away.

Thanks for letting be a part of such a wondering wedding and special day. Congrats to you both!
