This was a great session with Ana and Mario. They picked some really cool locations for their session in Westchester. We started at Blue Hill which is a great place and I have heard the food is amazing. Then we went to a near by park that had the coolest spots. Ana and Mario were game and up for anything which is always music to my ears. Mario has what I call a crotch rocket and wanted some photos with his bike which was cool. I look forward to their wedding next February at the Glen Island Harbour.

Every once in a while you get a couple that goes above and beyond. You get a couple that wants something different, artistic, creative and so on. Diana and Peter are that couple. I met Diana and Peter at a Starbucks in New York City. When we sat and began to talk about the wedding and what they wanted to do for their engagement session I was blown away. Diana is a very creative person with a great imagination and she had a vision of what she wanted especially for the engagement session. I was all in just like a great hand in poker. Their engagement session is a two part deal. What you are about to see is part one and then in a few weeks I will post part two. When she told me that they wanted to rent a sofa and put it in Prospect Park and she said go nuts. . It was like a sign from above and I was like are you serious. And she was dead serious. I was like a kid at a candy store and my parents said go. Now, I know how my 5 year old feels when he goes to Toys R Us and we say go. Yikes, what a feeling! Diana wore a hot red dress and Peter wore a black tux like something 007 would wear.I can’t wait for the wedding in September at the Pearl River Hilton.
It was the three Hs. Hazy, Hot and Humid! I think this was the hottest day of the summer. I could not shake the sweat of my forehead it was so bad. Talia and Michael kept cool in the heat. They met while both were at Penn State. That’s right the Nittany Lions! We had a blast and then as the sunset began to set the temperture also dropped and made it more comfortable. As a result we got some great stuff and awesome sunset photos at the Highland Park which is a walking park located above the Meat Packing District on old train tracks. It’s pretty cool and I highly recommend you check it out. Talia and Michael are getting married at the Westmount Country Club next summer during the 4th of July weekend! It’s going to be crazy. I have been warned already!
This was my second time shooting an engagement session at Fairfield University. This is a great school and the campus is a wonderful backdrop as well. Kate and Peter met and dated at the school. They met while taking a business class at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business. Kate and Peter are going to be a lot of fun to photograph on their wedding day. They are actually getting married in Cape Cod, MA this fall. I can’t wait! Looking forward to the wedding.
Cynthia and Bill were a fun couple with great chemistry and very comfortable with being in front of the camera. They are both teachers in New York City which is awesome. We went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens where their ceremony will be taking place in July and we also went to Prospect Park which is a couple blocks away. The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens is such a beautiful place to be and take incredible photos. I can’t wait for their wedding this summer.
It’s wonderful to see a couple comfortable with themselves and who they are. Nicole and Scott are just that. They are cool and down to earth people who genuinely enjoy having fun. It was a fun shooting their engagement session. They wanted to have a baseball aspect to their session and we delivered. We started at Haverstraw Bay Park and then went to Peck’s Pond where there’s a baseball diamond. Now Scott is a huge Yankee fan. He played baseball a good portion of his life and just loves the game and the Yankees. When the unis came out that’s when Nicole and Scott really showed their true colors. It was a blast! Scott was in his element and he didn’t disappoint. I know they are going to have a killer wedding in November at the Fountainhead in New Rochelle.
When Valerie and Omar came to me and told me that they wanted me to photograph their wedding I was honored because I know them very well. I especially know Omar from our days working together in sales and ever since we have been good friends. Valerie and Omar are one of those couples who are into PDA and have no shame. They are so in love with each other that they want the whole world to know and they will show it! So I knew what I was in for when we went to the city for their session. They rented a limo for the day so we could hit different spots around the city which meant something to them. I was game as always and excited! We planned it out and now it was time to execute. We started in the Meat Packing District which is one of their favorite hangout spots because of the clubs and excellent restaurants in the area, Spice Market being one of them. Then we headed over to Union Square and the Underbar at the W Hotel. After that we headed to the LOVE sculpture in Midtown and ended the session in Brooklyn with the NYC skyline serving as the backdrop. All and all it was a fun and action filled day. Needless to say, I am happy for these two love birds and I can’t wait for the big day. They will be getting married at the Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown, NY this summer.
Jennifer and Cameron are probably one of the funniest and coolest couples I have been around. Cameron’s sense of humor is ridiculous and Jennifer can be just as funny. The are a riot it was tough trying to focus because they had me in stitches. They met while working at the New York Post and they are very fond of the city and so that’s were they decided to have their session. They also got engaged on my birthay which I thought was pretty cool. We started out in midtown and then worked our way to Central Park. It was a blast working with these two and it felt like I was hanging out with friends which was great. Of course there are always nerves but once we got going it was hard to stop. Jennifer and Cameron will be getting married later in the fall at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, New Jersey. Now, music is Cameron’s bag and he is a true musician at heart so he warned me to be ready for some action at the wedding. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
