Jennifer + Michael at the Round Hill House in Washingtonville, NY

Weddings |

07.13.2010

The Round Hill House is one of those locations that just has tons of charm and character. If you want to have a wedding with a somewhat country feel outside the metro NY area this is the place. Jennifer and Michael had an  intimate yet fun wedding. They day could not have been more perfect! They saw each other before the ceremony for photos and we all know how I feel about that especially when the ceremony and reception take place at the same location. Jennifer and Michael are the sweetest and nicest people you can ever meet. It was a pleasure and an honor to document their wedding day.

Thank you for the opportunity to document your special day! Best wishes to you both on you new journey together.

Julianne + Joseph at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ

Weddings |

07.13.2010

This is the first of many visits this year to the Rockleigh Country Club. Now, this wedding was one of the most unique weddings ever. All I can say is swords and more swords and when you see the images below you will understand what I am talking about. This wedding was insane and crazy fun. I am a huge fan of when couples really make it there own and just have fun with planning their wedding and letting it all go on the day of. This is what Julianne and Joseph did.  Julianne looked stunning and gorgeous. She had it, the girl rocked her dress out! Joe looked sharp and was all about making sure he had fun especially with the swords that took a life of their own during the course of the wedding. It was a brutally hot day in July. If this is what this summer is going to be like oh boy,we are in for a tough one. Needless to say this did not stop us from getting killer stuff. I had my home girl Millie B on second helping me out and my intern Katie on third. We had a blast with this wedding.

Julianne and Joseph what can I say this one will go down into the history books for sure. Thanks for one of the most memorable weddings ever. You guys and everyone at the wedding were absolutely awesome. I wish you guys a lifetime of crazy and love!

Engagement |

07.09.2010

This was my second time shooting an engagement session at Fairfield University. This is a great school and the campus is a wonderful backdrop as well. Kate and Peter met and dated at the school. They met while taking a business class at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business. Kate and Peter are going to be a lot of fun to photograph on their wedding day. They are actually getting married in Cape Cod, MA this fall. I can’t wait! Looking forward to the wedding.

Jessica + Michael at The Tides Estate in North Haledon, NJ

Weddings |

07.09.2010

This is my 4th visit to The Tides a wonderful venue and Jessica and Michael had a special and wonderful wedding.  It was a hot yet beautiful 4th of July day. And boy were there fireworks with these two. This couple looked incredible and where so much fun to work with.  The party was great. They had a kick ass Latin Band from Long Island and the music was sick. I could not help myself but get down to the Latin beat. With Jessica’s family being from Cuba they went all out and had a cigar roller towards the end rolling up some good stuff. Oh course, I had to get one for later on! Let’s take a look.

Jessica and Michael thank for an awesome and memorable 4th of July. I wish you guys the Best!

Seven + Shimon at Daniel’s Restaurant in New York City

Weddings |

07.08.2010

Seven and Shimon had an intimate yet elegant wedding in New York City. The wedding was at one of New York’s finest restaurant’s Daniel. Seven and Shimon are huge mega fans of great cuisine and world travel. They have wine and dined at the finest places and have traveled to the most exotic and incredible places. Seven and Shimon are about class, style and elegance and it showed in their wedding. Seven wore a Vera Wang dress and Chanel shoes. Shimon wore Burberry to the nines. I am pretty sure it helps that Seven works for Burberry.  That’s how this couple rolls.  Everything was on point from stylish wedding wear, to the weather, to the venue. I hung out with the guys at the New York Palace Hotel and then we headed over to St Patrick’s Cathedral where Shimon did a little praying before the wedding. After the ceremony we walked over to Daniel for photos and then for a world class dinning experience. The food was insane. Shimon and Seven made sure we got to see the chef to get a few photos in the kitchen where all the magic happens.

Seven and Shimon thanks for a world class experience. I wish you guys lifetime of joy and happiness. Please send me a postcard from time to time just so I know where in the world you guys are.

Erika + Joe at the Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown, NY

Weddings |

07.07.2010

This was a kick ass wedding from start to finish. It was stylish, fun, crazy, beautiful, and the list goes on. Erika and Joe met while at Marist College and Joe proposed at Marist College . Here is the kicker Erika and Joe, Her parents and His parents all have the same wedding anniversary is that crazy or what. Now that’s what I call fate! Anyways Erika looked stunning. The camera loved her and I think she loved the camera too. Joe was awesome to work with and he’s a Dallas Cowboys fan which I am too. Yes, I put it out there and the ‘Boys will be back! Onto to the wedding. Everything took place at the beautiful Lyndhurst Castle. It was a gorgeous day in July and the outdoor ceremony was perfect. The reception was a non stop party and one of the craziest ever.

Erika and Joe thanks for an awesome time. You guys know how to put a great party together. You guys rock and I wish you both the very best!

Alaina + Josh at the Bridgewaters in New York City

Weddings |

06.27.2010

I am a New Yorker by heart born and raised so when I get to photograph a wedding in New York City I get very giddy because there is something about New York City that is like no other place in the world. New York has style, energy, action, fame, class, sophistication, history, iconic and the list goes on and on. New York City was the perfect backdrop for Alaina and Josh’s summer wedding. They both got ready at the Ritz Carlton down by Battery Park and the ceremony and reception took place at the Bridgewaters down by the South Street Seaport. It was fun capturing Alaina with her girls during the getting ready part. These girls were fun and ready for a good time. Alaina wore a beautiful dress and sported a sexy pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. It seems like shoes have become the it item for brides on their wedding day. The dress will always be numero uno but the shoes add that touch of sexy. Josh was with the fellas hanging out and my partner Harrison was hanging with them getting some cool New York City photos.  It was another beautiful summer wedding and a ton of fun.

Valerie + Omar at the Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown, NY Part I

Weddings |

06.14.2010

How about crazy, awesome, insane, out of this world, hot, sexy, fun, stylish, red, black these are all things and words that come to mind when I think of Valerie and Omar’s wedding. It was everything mentioned and then some. Not enough words to explain the wedding that these two had and to top it off I know them personally as I worked with Omar back in the day. This wedding was just awesome it had it all. The Bride was gorgeous, the groom looked sharp, the bridal party was crazy and fun, the parents and family were emotional, the venue was on point, the food was great, the band was sick, the party was non stop, the videographer Adam from PennyLane Productions is one of the best in the game and the weather was perfect. The ceremony and reception took place at the famed Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown. This was a spectacular event and it did not disappoint. The details and the bold colors red and black were a perfect blend. The reception was sexy, stylish and well decorated. It was an absolute pleasure and honor to have witnessed these two beautiful individuals and families come together.

Karen + Robert at The Kittle House in Chappaqua, NY

Weddings |

06.07.2010

I have to start out by saying that social media (ie Facebook) is an awesome and powerful tool. I went to college with Karen back in the day but we won’t say when just because there’s no need to. Anyways, I had not been in contact with Karen since Holy Cross. Then one day out of the blue Karen sends me a Facebook message that she’s getting married and that she found out through Rosie (who I also went to school with and was Karen’s MOH at the wedding) that I was a wedding photographer. Karen and I met and reconnected and it was like we never left school. I also met Robert who is a chef in NYC at his restaurant. It was a brief encounter because he was doing his thing at the restaurant but I could tell that he and Karen were madly in love and excited. Now let’s fast forward to the wedding day. Karen looked radiant and had a glow about her that day. Robert was a little nervous but kept his cool and looked very sharp. The ceremony and reception took place at the Kittle House. It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor ceremony. Karen and Robert saw each other before the ceremony which was great, it gave us time to get all the photos done and they were able to relax before the ceremony and then later enjoy their cocktail hour.  It was a day filled with laughter and emotion. It was a pleasure to photograph a fellow Crusader’s wedding and hopefully more to come. Hint, hint!  Also want to thank Millie for shooting with me. Great job as always!

Karen and Robert it was a pleasure photographing your wedding! We had a blast! You guys are meant for each other. I wish you guys the best and many years of happiness. GO CRUSADERS!
